Last September 4-5, 2018, the Guidance Counseling and Testing Department, together with the Global Resources for Assessment Curriculum and Evaluation, Inc. (GRACE) under our new partnership with the Phoenix Publishing House, administered Performance Assessment of Standards and Skills (PASS) Tests in English, Mathematics, Science, Araling Panlipunan, and Filipino to YS 2-11 learners.  PASS is a standards-based assessment tool developed by GRACE which is designed to measure the proficiency level of learners in the competencies and standards set by the DepEd.

The PASS pre-tests were administered to measure the pre-existing knowledge of learners at the beginning of the academic year. Post-tests will be conducted next year at the end of the academic year to compare the knowledge attained by the learners after their learning facilitators implemented instructional interventions. Although some of the learners found the test difficult, they still cooperated throughout the duration of the test.
