UST Angelicum College Senior High school recently held their third Acquaintance Party, "Retroback", last 28th of August, 2018 at the St. Vincent Ferrer Gymnasium. Its theme focused on the Retro Era, starting from the 1950's to the 1990's.

The registration started at 2:30PM, while the program emceed by Fatima Valencia and Chelsea Fontanos from SHS 1 STEM began at 4:15PM. All games were facilitated by the Student Council Asst. Secretary Ronyth Cada from SHS 2 GAS and Marion Mayuga from SHS 2 HUMSS. The program started with a song prayer led by the glee club, followed by the National Hymn and the Opening Remarks by the Student Council President, Ma. Kyla D.R. Morales (SHS 2 ABM). Afterwards, students from the different sections of the Senior High School surprisingly did a flash mob that all the students, including the teachers, found to be very fun and exciting. Games came after wherein random students from each table volunteered themselves. The people on the winners' tables had the chance to get and enjoy the food first, followed by the other tables.

During dinner, people were serenaded by three bands, also from the Senior High School. Then, eight awards were given to chosen students. Mr. and Ms. Retro were awarded to Sean Reyes (SHS 1 HUMSS) and Rica Bautista (SHS 2 ABM) respectively, while the Mr. and Ms. Matchy were awarded to Daniel Geronimo and Rae Anne Avedaño, who are both SHS 2 STEM students. Meanwhile, Kyla Victoriano (SHS 2 HUMSS) got the Disco Ball Award. The Life of the Party Award was won by Dave Cabral (SHS 1 ABM). Lastly, the Ready to Party Award and Better Later than Never Award were given to Martina Crisostomo (SHS 1 TVL-HE) and Kylle Doyugan, (SHS 2 GAS) respectively.

One of the most awaited parts came afterwards: the party at the dancefloor. People rushed to dance to some groovy music as DJ Earl Austin played the first song, Magsayawan by VST. & Co., followed by more retro songs. After a while, modern song mixes were also blasted through the speakers as the students danced and took pictures all over the place. The event ended at 7:15PM as Niño Marquez from SHS 2 STEM and the Student Council Treasurer, announced the last song to be played.
