A Message of Welcome

Office of Religious Affairs

Welcome to the Office for Religious Affairs (ORA) of UST Angelicum College, the institutional arm and division dedicated to forming persons who grow not only in knowledge and competence, but also in faith, values, social responsibility, and meaningful and impactful engagement with others.

As a Catholic Dominican learning institution, we believe that education reaches its fullness when it forms the whole person. Academic excellence becomes more meaningful when accompanied by moral integrity, spiritual depth, social awareness, and a genuine commitment to the common good. In this way, education becomes more than preparation for achievement; it becomes formation for a life guided by values, enriched by compassion, and dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Rooted in our Dominican tradition and guided by the values of Veritas, Caritas, Justitia, and Fortitudo, the Office for Religious Affairs seeks to cultivate a community where reflection leads to action, faith enters into dialogue with life, and learning inspires service. We accompany learners and members of the community in becoming persons who care for creation, respond generously to the needs of others, remain open to growth and lifelong learning, and seek what is true with courage and integrity.

Through formation programs, liturgical celebrations, pastoral initiatives, community engagement, and opportunities for encounter and service, we seek to make faith visible in daily life and responsive to the realities of our world. Among these is the Re-Entry Education Agenda for the Poor (R.E.A.P.), a flagship program of our extension services ministry that reflects the College’s enduring commitment to inclusive and transformative Catholic education, opening opportunities and nurturing hope among underserved communities throughout the country.

“Tara sa ORA! Tayo na sa ORA!” Come and journey with us.

We warmly invite you to come and journey with us—to discover our mission in action through the programs, ministries, and experiences that animate our community. Together, may we continue helping each person grow in knowledge, deepen in faith, care for others, and become a light of hope for the world.

Rev. Fr. John Andrew S. Bautista, OP, LPT, S.Th.L. — M.A. Vice President for Religious Affairs
