At UST Angelicum College, we believe that every child deserves a learning journey that is personalized, empowering, and values-driven. Our non-graded, self-paced, modular system ensures that learners are free to grow at their own rhythm, mastering skills through capability, effort, and responsibility. This unique approach emphasizes that the only competition is with oneself, fostering confidence, resilience, and a love for lifelong learning.

Elementary education at UST Angelicum is about formation for life. Learners are guided to develop intellectual competence, social responsibility, and moral uprightness, while being nurtured in an environment that values creativity, independence, and faith. Every Learner is Unique

Formative Foundations

YS2 – YS4 · Grades 1–3

Dependent Learners

Learners in their formative years experience daily guided learning with facilitators, building confidence through modular activities. This stage emphasizes foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and values formation, while cultivating curiosity and responsibility.

At this level, learners are recognized as Dependent Learners who rely greatly on the learning facilitator for guidance, carefully supported to build both foundational skills and confidence.

YS5 – YS7 · Grades 4–6

Semi-Independent Learners

Learners at this level are considered semi-independent and gradually develop independence in accomplishing modules and other learning tasks. They gain confidence in supervised stations, advancing at their own pace, while facilitators provide guidance and encourage autonomy.

Highly motivated achievers may even earn vertical promotion, moving ahead per subject within the same academic year once mastery is demonstrated — rewarding diligence and initiative, and preparing learners for the challenges of Junior High.
