Crediting of Units for Transferees
UST Angelicum College recognizes and credits subjects previously taken by transferees from other institutions, provided these courses meet the standards and requirements set by the College. Such recognition ensures that students’ prior academic achievements are duly acknowledged and may be counted as earned units toward their program of study.
Crediting of units in a subject is permitted provided that:
- The course description and coverage are equivalent to those required in the subject offered by the College.
- The number of units is equal to or greater than what is required.
- The grade obtained in the subject is passing.
The student submits an application together with official transcripts from their previous college during enrollment.
The Admissions Officer verifies the authenticity of the transcripts and ensures that all required documents are complete.
The student proceeds to the Program Chair, who reviews the transcripts and matches completed courses with the current curriculum.
The Program Chair finalizes the credited courses and endorses the credited units/subjects to the Records Officer.
The Records Officer informs the student of the credited subjects.
